Stupid Cupid
Cupid's arrow hits on her heart
Cupid tries to match the same arrow on me
But cupid does not know that I have insulated my heart
Armoured it with subdued pain
Safeguard it with experienced king
This time, cupid isn't winning
But cupid isn't surrendering either
He says, "The game has just started. Too early to celebrate your winning."
The war is brewing
This time the final say is not from cupid
The locked heart won't be opened too soon
The heart is labeled No
As of now cupid is consistent
In trying to flip the heart
In turning it into an ultimate Yes

My Precious
If there's something that is closer than my shadow
It would be the thought of you
If there's something as important as air
It would be you
A segment of you is starting to connect
The love spell compound is starting to form
The process is not direct
If I were to pursue, it will beat the norm
If it leads to Yes, then I will give you the crown
And give new life to an empty queen's throne
Drum roll will fill the kingdom
From servant to knights, you will be made known
The news will fly as early as dawn
The king is ready for tomorrow's unknown
From here to everywhere is like a home
It's like winning a war a century long
If there's something that is closer than my shadow
It would be the thought of you
If there's something as important as air
It would be you
A segment of you is starting to connect
The love spell compound is starting to form

A Little Bit More
A little bit more
You'll conquer my nation
This time I won't surrender
So please endure
A little bit more
I might fall
With words from you
So speak to me more
A little bit more
We may know each other
How nice that we both talk in metaphor
But who knows, this will take us to forever
A little bit more
Is all we need
To justify the intent
And give life to hints
A little bit more
You'll conquer my nation
This time I won't surrender
So please endure
A little bit more
I might fall
With words from you
So speak to me more
A little bit more
We may know each other
How nice that we both talk in metaphor

Paralyzed King
Waking up in a vintage sight
Is living in an unmended past
Trying to create a happy ending
That you wish to be your now
But as you wipe the mist from your eyes
To give a clearer view
Is saying goodbye to the vintage sight
And saying an empty hello to your now
The pace to get away of pain is slow
No trails or shortcut
You are bound to follow the track
And the only choice you have is to move forward
The humps and bumps along the way
Are just temporary
The scratches caused by humps and bumps
Will soon heal along the journey
The view will soon get better
One day you'll step on a royal land
The servants will welcome you as King
But how can you be King without a Queen?
Waking up in a vintage sight
Is living in an unmended past
Trying to create a happy ending
That you wish to be your now

Stripping-off Sprouts
The artificial air is giving me a chill
A kind of chill which I can control
But the absense of you
And the presense of your memories
Sends me to the north pole
And I don't find it cool
Lately, I am having these random thoughts of you
I checked the hidden seed container at the corner of my brain
Reopening the container , is what I constantly refrain
But I am surprised to see the container has been opened
And seed has grown the sprouts
I can still remember...
In the middle of a storm
When I deliberately planted the seed
The damn bad and painful seed into a dead core
For growth to be impossible
Nor signs of life is imaginable
But the host is constantly drizzling the seed with the thoughts of you
Now the seed starts to sprout and making a scene within
I instructed the soldiers within me
To strip-off the sprouts and permanently seal the container
This is a better way for now
Than letting it establish a root
And soon cause an internal havoc
The artificial air is giving me a chill
A kind of chill which I can control
But the absense of you

Sensory
Time to undress the innocense of a butterfly
To country hop
Continent hop
A night in Asia
A dawn in America
The nectar is about to be sipped by the lovely butterfly
Who makes visit to a thorny flower on a moonless night
Just before the break of dawn
The butterfly has returned home
To plant seeds on a shattered glass
Is like having an undying fountain
Consistently sparkles when touched by the light
Is like having a ceaseless artesian well
Consistently drawing out water from the depths of the earth
To travel space in a seamless path
Only takes a kiss from a butterfly
Which can counter the wrath
Of an angry beast on the fly
Time to undress the innocense of a butterfly
To country hop
Continent hop
A night in Asia
A dawn in America

Rubble
The memories of the king and queen are burried in a rubble
Tonight the king tries to dig as deep as he can to find signs of hope
As he goes every inch deeper,
Random clear carvings
Vague feelings
Surfaced in a flashback manner
Never noticed that he's already stepping on a wish bottle
That they both burried before
Under the secret palace
That they both knew
Now that the palace has collapsed
And the queen has long been gone
The king is trying to rebuild the palace out of rubble
But it just doesn't help anymore
Now, the king puts on his armour
Continue his journey
Leaving the palace and the queen to memory
It's just one of those starry nights
When the king misses her queen
And recalls his promise
To reap all the stars
And keep them in a limitless clear jars
The memories of the king and queen are burried in a rubble
Tonight the king tries to dig as deep as he can to find signs of hope
As he goes every inch deeper,
Random clear carvings

Telescope
I always see a telespcope around me
From people I've met with a bloody heart
From people I've met with a healed heart
Hmmm, I wonder what's with the telescope...
While strolling around the city
I saw a flower sweetly smiling at the bee
The bee look around to validate if she's truly looking at the bee
Yes, the luring flower is silently inviting the innocent bee
On a rear sight, I was wondering why people around me seems so busy...
With their telescope,
Some seems to have eaten a sugar apple
But some seems to have eaten a bitter gourd
As the flower and the bee start to build a rendezvous
The flower starts to show her thorns
The bee starts to show his killer sting
The flower was stung a thousand times
The bee was pricked a zillion times
Both were hurt and decided to call it a quit!
But the flower seems to have fallen badly!
She runs to the store to buy a telescope
She badly needs one
The merchant told her , "You need to learn how to make your own telescope!"
The poor flower goes home empty handed
I continue my walk...
On the next alley, I was surprised to see the bee too
He runs to the store to buy a telescope
He badly needs one
The merchant told him , "You need to learn how to make your own telescope!"
The poor bee goes home empty handed
The next day while strolling around the city I saw the flower with a telescope
She carefully trying to find the bee's whereabouts
Just on another corner,
I saw the bee cautiously observing the flower with his personalized telescope
Now I understand, the essense of the telescope...
It's for the flower, bee, and people around me
Who hold on to a feeling called Hope
And it hurts to know, I need one for me too...

Repainting The Canvas
The glass window's vertical gap
Is inviting a man whose back is married to his bed
Through a permeable curtain, the view from the outside is able to send a message
"Come on, get up! And try to build a relationship outside the aquarium", the view said.
"I know what's beyond this aquarium.
People of all sorts. Things of all sorts.
Everything that a naked eye can witness.
Everything that the mind can perceive.", the man replied.
The view connives with nature and shows him more
The sun shines brighter
The sky reveals a different kind of blue
A blue that makes him feel happy
"I know you've seen these before.
I just want to bring back the smile that I've witnessed from you.
You started in a solo. Then a combo.
Now you are in a solo again, nothing to worry.
I've invited someone from her window too!
You can re-marry, as many times as you want.", the view said.
The man quickly pull-out the canvas that was kept in a dusty cabinet of dreams
Analyze the loopholes that were missed-out in the game of love
The man paints the loopholes with white... Redraw a better dream
The man opens the door of the aquarium gently
He is in a black tie ready to bump someone in red gown
The view has won the man's heart.
The canvas is now married to the aquarium's wall
Directly visible and guided by the view
Now the dry aquarium is full of fresh dew
The glass window's vertical gap
Is inviting a man whose back is married to his bed

Cycle
The leaf fell from a tree
And the tree ...is still a tree
A single fallen leaf does not make less of a tree
The fallen leaf may have caused the tree to look incomplete
But who cares, other trees don't know that a tree next to it has lost a leaf
The leaf?
It has withered and eaten by the loam
Making the loam healthier
Now the tree stands on a healthier loam
No trace of a fallen leaf
The branch which was once a fallen leaf's place
Now has a new leaf
The new leaf may or may not be a perfect fit
But it sure makes a tree look complete again
The tree?
It has grown into a healthier and stronger tree
The cycle continues....
But the tree is also getting older
There comes a time that all the leaves have fallen
The tree will lose its strength
And soon the tree will fall and eaten by the loam
The loam?
It is now the dwelling place of once a healthy tree
It is the only witness of once a great cycle
The loam may seem empty
But it is now the home of the untold story...
Of a non-typical love story
That of a leaf and the tree...
The leaf fell from a tree
And the tree ...is still a tree
A single fallen leaf does not make less of a tree
The fallen leaf may have caused the tree to look incomplete
But who cares, other trees don't know that a tree next to it has lost a leaf

Dawn of World War III
Here I am again
Starting to scribe life's happenings
I can't help but paint the emotions into a canvas
I guess it's awfully arduous to do matching game
Someday i'll find an algorithm
To match a perfect word for every feeling
My heart whispers to my brain...
"Goodluck! Just leave it to me because you'll never will."
Everytime these words of chessiness come to a pour
I always get a suspicion that my heart is building a plot
For every cell to be injected
By an enzyme distinctly made
To make cells give-in easily
And unknowingly assent to heart's sultriness
The ticker just knows how to win the crowd of cell
And get an easy Yes!
Oh brain don't be caught off-guard
Or else you'll be ditched into a loom of ticker allies
Before the clock's hands cross another sun and moon
One more time, do a loyalty check
If indeed you are still the central of the nervous system
I will appreciate if you use the authority bestowed by nature into you
Show every cell that you are still the master
That dwells within me
So Build a wall as high and as strong as the great wall
Before the war is initiated by love call
Here I am again
Starting to scribe life's happenings
I can't help but paint the emotions into a canvas

Litmus Test Ticker
A friend's visit made me travel east
It wasnt long ago when I decided not to travel that direction
But the universe has arranged this time
It's about time for a litmus test
The love, hate had finally detached from the ticker
After you've left... the ticker was not in normal shape and form
But I lose track of time when the ticker finally recovered from a storm
I don't know when it was exactly restored
Earlier was just a validation
That East is appearing in my direction again
And felt nothing... not even a bit of pain
East-Direction is much clearer
Even if tears from heaven were falling earlier
Now my heart does not beat faster
Yup, I just had a Litmus Test Ticker
