Paralyzed King

Waking up in a vintage sight
Is living in an unmended past
Trying to create a happy ending
That you wish to be your now

But as you wipe the mist from your eyes
To give a clearer view
Is saying goodbye to the vintage sight
And saying an empty hello to your now

The pace to get away of pain is slow
No trails or shortcut
You are bound to follow the track
And the only choice you have is to move forward

The humps and bumps along the way
Are just temporary
The scratches caused by humps and bumps
Will soon heal along the journey

The view will soon get better
One day you'll step on a royal land
The servants will welcome you as King
But how can you be King without a Queen?
